Do you really offer a national service, and is there any area of the country that you don't cover?
We do offer a national service. There is no area that we don't cover. As long as our driver or the courier can get to it then we can collect it and repair it.
Do I have to pay anything in advance?
We take a ￡20 deposit. We take the deposit because we have had one too many booking and where the customer fails to be present on collection or turn up, plus hoax bookings and teenagers/competitors booking collections as pranks - and it costs us every time. So we don't need you to pay for the whole repair up front. We are probably the only iPad repair company in the UK where you don't have to pay the whole amount upfront. Most iPad repair shops or websites make you go through the check out process or take your card details even before you send the iPad to them.
What is your "Service Promise"?
Our "Service Promise" is our approach to high quality service. It has come as a result of our experience of good and bad customer service we have received at the hands of other companies. We live in times where everything is about saving money to an extreme. Some service companies have taken this to such an extreme that they hide their customer service numbers on their websites. This is because they will get less customer service calls which will mean they will need less manpower to deal with customer service enquiries. It is often near enough impossible to speak to a "person" in some of those companies because you have to go through endless menu choices and phones queues. We wanted to be the complete opposite to that. So our "Service Promise" is simple: We promise that we will always display our phone numbers so that we are easily contactable, and that your phone call will be answered within 7 rings 98 per cent of the time. We also promise that you will not have to deal with endless phone menu options (you will only need to choose once), and that you will be given a named contact who is responsible for your service and repair from start to finish. It's as simple as that. We continuously look for your feedback on improving things so please let us know.
Do you give a warranty?
We provide the longest warranty in the iPad repair market. Don't just take our word for it. We are probably the only company to offer one year hardware and labour warranty on our iPad screen repairs.
I want my iPad collected, is it really Free Collection and Free Delivery?
We genuinely have Free collection and delivery anywhere in the UK except the Highlands where there is a small charge. We can collect within 24 hours from anywhere in the UK and within 90 minutes from most areas in London. We have a small charge in some areas.
I want my iPad collected, how long will it take?
We can collect a iPad typically within 90 minutes to 24 hours.
Can you do a same-day service?
Yes we can. We can do a same-day service on 80% of the jobs. We will be able to advise you if same day service is possible on your repair. There is an extra charge for same-day express service.
My iPad is dead, are you still able to recover my data?
The answer is that 97 per cent of the time it's a 'yes'. There is that remaining 3 per cent of the time when the damage is too great and we cannot recover the data.
Can I have a quote in writing?
Definitely. Just email us and we will give you a quote in writing.
Will you buy my old iPad?
The short answer is yes. Just send us as much information as possible with pictures and we will let you know if we will buy it or not.
Are you open weekends?
We are now open on weekends. If you are looking to drop off at the weekend then you need to book by calling us and providing your name and contact details and letting us know what time we should expect you. We also provide a pick-up service on the weekends.
Is there a delivery charge?
No, it's FREE anywhere in the UK.
How long does a typical iPad repair take?
A typical repair can take around 1-2 working days. Officially we say 1-3 working days. However, in reality most iPads are repaired within 1-2 days. We also have next day and same day repair service. If you are in a hurry then ask about our express service for faster turn around times.
Do you have a minimum charge?
Yes. Our minimum charge is £35 if no work is done, and £60 if the iPad has been opened up and diagnosed.
Do you give any discounts?
Yes. We give discounts to Students, Senior Citizens, and customers who have reviewed our service. If you are an existing customer, you can review our service, and get 15 per cent discount on any future repairs for your friends and family.
Are you able to pick up iPad's in the evening and weekends?
Yes, and only in some areas. However, we make no promises. It depends sometimes on delivery personnel being available. The best thing to do is call us and ask.
